Touching the void – practise

I look at the tittle ‘touching the void’ and many thought come into my head which relates with the tittle. The meaning of the tittle could be explored and interpreted in different ways. But mainly focusing on the word ‘void’ brings many ideas of what the word is trying to tell us. As soon as I think of the word void I think empty spaces and we do know it can mean ’empty spaces between galaxies, so to me I look at the word void and think that it can be interpreted in the way that it means empty spaces between goals, so you are trying to achieve a goal but there is always something missing which just doesn’t let you achieve. An We see that in the book no matter what they achieve they always want to achieve more so in a way it relates to what I thought of it as there is just something in the way of them and stopping them to reach there actual goal because they never seem to be happy completing something they just go and do something else even wilder. It could also mean that the void is what they want to achieve, so the top of the mountain could void as that’s were they want to reach. I interpreted the whole tittle ‘touching the void’ and I come up with the thought that it means the void is the unknown and they want to touch the void as they don’t know what could be expected and you can link this to the top of the mountain being the void (uknown) and they want to reach the top to see what is there.
