Creative Writing – Film Stimulus

As I stepped into the rocket i could feel tension building up inside me making me more nervous, the feeling was like no other and the vibration from the floor was causing shivers to run threw my body. as I held onto the railings circling the rocket I could feel how slippery and sweaty it was from were all the other passengers palms had touched it as well. This is going to be a scary ride, kept on going through my head. The feeling I got from all around me was excitement and cheer, the fact my one true dream from when I was a little boy has finally came true. I could of not wished for a better moment in my life than what is about to happen. I could taste the last few drops of saliva which were left in my mouth. I was so dehydrated. The taste of the chicken salad which I had for lunch kept on running through my mouth. The best taste was glory my one dream has finally come true. Glory is breathing down my throat like a dragon breathing fire on its prey. “burp” the taste of the chicken salad ran threw my throat once again. I thought in my head if I relax I might calm down a bit more. The joy running threw my head at this point in time is immense. I’ve finally concord my dream. The smell around room was of fresh air and brought a calm mood to the room of the rocket. The smell of bio was creeping into the room like a robber creeping up onto its victim. Just before the rocket was about to take off u could start to smell the smoke and burning from underneath the rocket, changing the whole mood of the room. But then all of a sudden all I heard was “3,2,1 blast off” and the rocket shot up into the air causing a vibration and every one of us started to shake frequently until the rocket reached the worlds atmosphere. I could hear nothing not one word. It was silent like never before. I was not use to it being this quiet, in the city the noise is astonishing but up here not a peep. The mood of the room went calm and relaxing once again. Until I heard a smash on the north side of the rocket, then a whack on the east side like two swords hitting one an other. All of sudden I glanced up and coming towards me through the window faster than the speed of light was an asteroid, before I could blink it smashed threw the window causing a big whole in the south of the rocket exactly where we were located. I looked around and all I could see was dead bodies some even squashed by asteroids, as flat as pancakes. This was making me panic and I felt very scared at this moment. I was still strapped into my seat I could not move. Asteroids hitting every part of the rocket. I glanced up and saw a sharp part of the window I reached out and grabbed it. I then started to thrust back and fourth on my belt with the sharp piece of glass. Finally after cutting for at least 10 minutes, I was released out of my chair. At this point the rocket was flying through the air with no control, like a bird with no wings. The rocket them started to fall at a high speed causing so many different thoughts running through my head but the main thought was im going to die…….
